To cater to the non-carnivores in your life, this can be easily modified to fit a vegetarian diet.

Ingredients:

1 Large can of re-fried beans
1 Can of black beans
1 Package of pre-cooked 90 second “Spanish Style” rice
1/2 Red onion (diced)
1 Cup green onion (diced)
1 Lb Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp Crushed red pepper (more or less as desired)
1 Tbsp Southwest chipotle Mrs Dash (more or less as desired)
1 Package Taco seasoning powder
2-3 Cups Pre-cooked Diced chicken *optional*

Directions:

1. In a medium bowl, mix chicken and spices and microwave for 3 minutes or until hot. If making vegetarian, skip this step and add spices to beans in step 2.
2. In a large mixing bowl, add (chicken mix if applicable), re-fried beans, black beans, salsa, red onions, and 2/3 of the green onions.
3. Microwave on high for five to ten minutes or until hot. Make sure to mix every few minutes.
4. Mix in 2/3 of the shredded cheese and microwave again until all the cheese is melted.
5. Once thoroughly melted and mixed, top with the rest of the cheese and green onions and serve with your choice of dipping chips.

Brief Description: Compact, semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry. Slides available in blued, parkerized, and hard chrome finishes. Grips available in black, grey, and olive drab.

Size:
Small. Easy to conceal. Not good for large hands. Fits fine in smaller hands but the slim profile makes it harder to hold on to.

Weight:

Light. Good thing for concealed carry, bad thing for shooting. This gun has a bit of a kick to it.

Feel:

Not really comfortable to shoot. Hard for weaker shooters to hold steady through the recoil. Some shooters have problems with their hold accidentally ejecting the magazine.

Usage:

Designed for concealed carry/backup carry. Personally, I don’t feel it is versatile enough to work as a multi-role weapon.

Power:

Not bad. Not spectacular, but 9mm is enough to kill if needed. Just hope your target isn’t wearing body armor or on something that might make them harder to bring down.

Accuracy:

Meh. With practice and concentration “decent” can be achieved.

Design:

Simple. Very easy take down for cleaning.

Reliability:

Questionable. It has had its share of known issues. My personal experience shooting it has seen quite a few failures to eject, failures to fire, and a couple failures to load (though to be fair, the failures to load may be due to shooter “limp wrist” syndrome.) I plan to follow up with Kel-tec to see about getting the faults serviced. I have heard many people say that Kel-tec takes care of any issues and that they have great customer service. I will provide updates as they become available.

Overall Value:

Good. Due to the very low price and the great customer service of Kel-tec, this gun is worth adding to your collection.
